Don't tell me that you don't like a band's music because they "suck" or "all their songs consist of power cords over and over and over." You and I both know that that's not why people listen to music. Do you honestly think that I picked up their CD because I thought the power cords sounded cool? NO. People don't listen to music for that reason. We listen to music for one simple reason: the way it makes us feel. When a song gives you goosebumps and chills, you listen to it again. When a song makes you cry or reminds you of your life, you want to listen to it again. It's that special feeling that only music can give you. And if what you're hearing doesn't give you that feeling - turn it off, and never turn it back on again. It's as simple as that. Don't come telling me about how much you hate them. 'Cause it's not gonna change the fact that I wanna play my music. So the next time you want to live up to the word "hater," push play on your Top 25...
