Torture Squad is getting its place into the brazilian metal's scene for over 15 years now, playing a visceral and powerful death/thrash metal registered on 4 studio albums and a live CD and DVD. The group had been gathered legions of fans through their electrifying concerts all over Brazil, Latin America and some places in Europe as well. They had played already with great bands such like Anthrax, Dimmu Borgir, Kreator, Tristania, Krisiun, Monstrosity, Incantation, Desaster, Exodus, Angra, Shaaman, Korzus. The band´s first line-up was, Vitor Rodrigues (vocals), Cristiano Fusco (guitar), Castor (Bass) and Amilcar Christofaro (Drums). They had released their debut cd entitled Shivering, in 1998. In 1999, their second album Asylum of Shadows is released and make their first tour in Europe for 7 dates in Germany. In 2001, they release their third album called The Unholy Spell, which was elected by audiences and brazilian´s metal magazines as the 5º best brazilian´s metal album ever released! In this same year, the band shoot their first video-clip for the song "Abduction Was the Case", which was premiered on Riff "MTV Brazil". In the next year 2002, the former guitarist Cristiano Fusco leaves the band for his personal reasons and Mauricio Nogueira (ex-Krisiun, In Hell) joint in the band replacing him. In 2003, the Pandemonium album is released and elected by Roadie Crew Magazine, one of the most important metal mag in Brazil, as the best brazilian´s metal album ever released! In this same year they was voted by fans on internet to be the headliners of Brazil Metal Union Fest, a great and important brazilian metal fest at DirecTV Music Hall, São Paulo, Brazil. In the next year, they release their first live CD and DVD entitled Death, Chaos And Torture Alive and played throughout Brazil between 2004 and 2005. In 2006, they go out on tour for 18 concerts between Germany and Austria including one gig at Musikmesse in Frankfurt / Germany, which is the second biggest music fair of the world! When they came back to Brazil in the same year, they had played in important festivals like Porão do Rock Brasília/DF in front of 10.000 people there! As well as performed at Brazil Metal Union for the third time! So, the "Death, Chaos and Torture Alive tour" was accomplished with a extensive tour over American Latin territories like Paraguay , Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Panama. In November 2006, the band has released an EP named "Chaos Corporation" with 2 brand new songs, the title track and The Beast Within plus 3 songs taken from their very first demo tape recorded in 93 "A Soul in Hell".
