I live in a small town in Virginia. A very short walk to the Appomatox river, a beautiful thing! I call myself an atheist, only because I do not believe in a divine providence, plan or god/gods. Human beings will 1 day learn, that they have the power to change their reality and the course of their lives, without the need of some supernatural entity that requires their "worship" of it's EGO. I believe in myself, with all my fallacies and imperfections, that 1 day I may transend all the ghosts of the past and live life for what it truly is, and be satisfied with what I have done before oblivion gives me her last kiss. POETRY INFLUENCES: Arthur Rimbaud, Alan Ginsberg, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman and James Douglas Morrison. I am a Navy Veteran, I spent 10 years of my life building and loading Weapons of Mass Destruction, both nuclear and conventional. I hid behind the countryman call of: "For God and country!" I am a contentious objector now, I have been since 1991. I have NO place for violence in my life anymore.
