Hobbies: Drawing, sculpting and surfing. Oh and napping, i love taking a nap. In fact Im taking a nap right now. Also enjoy holding opposing views concurrently. Feeling sorry for myself. Pondering my greatness. Feeding my 4 cats. AND PAINTING MADNESS!!!!
WELCOME :) I have hundreds more paintings, drawing and sculptures in my studio and in various collections than what you see here and online on my site etc..maybe one day I will be able to show them ALL to you (that would be cool). I am mostly an alla-prima painter. That means I paint my pictures all at once, all in one go, for better or worse. There is no such thing as a mistake in art! Remember, having an imagination is what is most important. Picasso said: "The truth is a lie". Better to let your imagination run wild than try and conform to someone else's perception of "what is real". Realism is an illusion. I can do it all but I especially love plein-air painting and painting from a nude model when I can.. almost all of 'em are in oil. Oil painting is my favorite medium. I believe in freedom and beauty in art. Art should be spontaneous and unbridled. Great art is free from pretense, formulaic parameters, and preconception.
