I was an average guy,I used to spend my days playing computergames,drawing cartoons, drinking beer, having fun with my friends, lying in the sun,reading, going to the movies, i thought my life would go on like this, I would find a girl, settle down ....but then when i was twenty I had a car accident, a friend was driving, we hit a tree,from this moment on my life changed completely,when i woke up from the coma nothing was the same, i could not eat,drink, speak,move my arms or legs...it was an absolute nightmare,now 5 years later i have learned to communicate with my voice computer,i can eat and drink i can walk a little and use my pc, but still this new life is hard and i still struggle to adjust to it. Coordination-dynamics therapy: I started a new therapy two months ago.Coordination dynamics therapy was introduced by Dr.Giselher Schalow for repairing a malfunctioning human central nervous system (CNS).This is mainly a movement therapy to improve the self-organization of the neuronal networks of the CNS.I have to exercise extremely exact coordinated arm and leg movements on a special device(the so called GigerMd) During his visit Dr.Schalow told me that the successful partial repair of the lesioned CNS in more than 100 patients leads to the assumption that every CNS can substantially be improved in its functioning in a natural way. All repair mechanisms are present in the human body. I will have to exercise the extremely coordinated arm and leg movements on the GigerMd for about 4 hours a day five days a week from now on.Hopefully this will improve my malfunctioning CNS and enable me to walk again in the near future.I will keep you updated on my progress.
