They were very impressed with the vocals and felt that you and TubaGirl022 did a fantastic job on the cover. If Reina or Tubagirl will ever be featured by YouTube is an unknown, but like a bronze sculpture in a park, their work will endure. Aug 16, 2008 - I just took a listen to both those artists 52071492 mentions and I agree that Reina and Tubagirl022 have a better song here. Natasha Bedingfield simply does too many vocal gymnastics, very much like doing acrobatic backflips at a square dance as her vocals don't fit the character of the song. Avril Lavigne does a better cover of this song than Natasha Bedingfield and doesn't turn it into a jazz song. The soothing harmonics of Tubagirl022 and Reina's singing are my favorites for this cover.

When I came back from vacation I finally got it fixed. It is so good to hear your voice again. You and the mysterious Tubagirl sound great on "The Scientist." I agree about the lyrics - they seem to strike that perfect balance between obscure and accessible, so that they leave us wondering about the nature of this relationship without turning us away in vexation at not being able to entirely dissect it.
