In May 2008, an expanded Beaty Museum team returned to Tignish. They were joined by a group of pathologists from UPEI's Atlantic Veterinary College. Together, they planned to unearth the whale. Watch as the team removes one of the whale's largest bones: a jawbone weighing approximately 1,500 kg. Shot by Kim Woolcock on May 19, 2008.
