Jul 19, 2008 - i have this guitar. i dont think its heavy but alot of people say that. i put a EMG 81 in the bridge and an *% in the neck position. overall it has great tone through my crate amp. haha but i have the black. now i wish i had white!! haha

Jul 23, 2008 - sollyharr, you are 100% right, so valid feedback. I am so used to keeping the 'tail' on my lap, but agreed, you are right! The thing for me ... when I put the guitar in the middle, it's too high up the fretboard, making it somewhat uncomfortable (hunched over too much). For this guitar, anyone doing as U suggested, will find themselves reaching over a bit to far, making it somewhat uncomfortable for long hours of play. Of course, this goes away with a strap ,but then you have the weight issue.

Aug 2, 2008 - o and the other model you talked about, its the signiture sam totman one, it only has one nob on the front for volume, a trem, different trim etc, and it is slightly better. But i couldnt tell much difference, both are good.

Aug 13, 2008 - Dimarzio`s are great i love the cleans because they are really cleans, but certain models i dont like them becouse the dont distort well for example the joe satriani models, i play death metal/harcore so i need a lot of gain, like d activators, super distortion or X2N, that the reason why i use EMG`s but the next guitar that i buy i will see if i put dimarzio or seymour duncan on it :]

Jul 18, 2008 - Hi Jestersage, Thank you for the comments. I agree, I dont' think Indonesia is bad. Infact, it looks like quality construction. If I can change anything about it ... they should have used wood that was much, much lighter. And, as for the black paint binding ... perhaps they could have beveled the wood, giving it something more like a 3 dimension look. After having it in my lap for a while, it feels like a slab of wood. When I look at it from a distance, it still looks cool as hell :-) !!!
