Jul 19, 2008 - Oh goodness, Michael James, I do love your videos. And I have to agree with what someone else said up in the comments; my favorite Renaissance artist has to be Botticelli. Lovely stuff, that. Also, I simply cannot wait to hear what is going to be said about the universe! I am most excited about this topic. <3

Jul 19, 2008 - When you're making a video, it's always going to be your Right Hand pointing Left... I think anyway, LOL. I really like your personality... If you have your own channel, could you reply with it please? Thank you, Sky<3

Jul 19, 2008 - I understand what you mean about wanting spontaneous/similar friends like that. :) Yay for possibly coming to the U.S.! I love Da Vinci's medical drawings, but my favorite Renaissance artist would have to be Caravaggio. I'm a BIG fan of chiaroscuro and his overall style :). Judith cutting off Holofernes' head? Classic. Also, Botticelli was pretty wonderful, so he comes in second place. I APPROVE OF THESE SPECULATIVE/THEORETICAL/INTELLECTUAL TOPICS! Clapclap, sir. Clapclap.

Jul 20, 2008 - Oook, I'll have a lot to write so sorry in advance.. the shape of the universe... I'd say it's either spiral-shaped much like galaxy, but on other hand, it could be something completely different... Like made out of things to make something completely different. My train of thought: atoms - "things" - planets - galaxys - smth we don't know :D - universe I'd love to know something closer about Hawking's theory..

Jul 20, 2008 - On the NY trip - I've always wanted to go there, but I've had the same problem - nobody to go with plus I don't have a job to pay for the trip :/ Good luck to you nevertheless :) It's hard to say who's my fav ren. artist. Everyone has their "field". DaVinci is extraordinary in every way; I love Durer's etchings, Titian's paintings had helped me to learn a lot about painting... Hmpf... I'd say ElGreco.... because his paintings are weird, but well-ballanced. I love his selfportraits.

Jul 21, 2008 - You lucky little bitch! I'm actually somewhat jealous! I was going to see him in a club in New York in a week or so, but it got canceled. It made me very sad. I wish I lived in Liverpool again, but regretfully I live in Ohio.

Jul 21, 2008 - there will be an alignment of all the planets on our solar system (including the tenth planet nibiru), the sun, and the black hole at the center of the universe! The DOOM that could take place is unimaginable to our tiny pipsqueek human minds. dec 21 2012. In your lifetime this will occur. One of the times this happened the poles of the earth flipped. I could go on for days! Look it up if youre truly into DOOM and teh universe.

Jul 29, 2008 - The univerese isn't "shaped" it has no beginning and no end. If it were a shape that would mean there was an end. But the term "univerese" is all inclusive, so even if there was a point in space where all matter ceased to exist, that "empty" area would still be apart of the universe. Our bodies are made up of mainly "empty" space, but it is still apart of our bodies. Therefor the "empty" space in space is still apart of space. Which means there is no end to space. Concluding there is no shape. ♥

Aug 16, 2008 - Regarding your quote! The rumor is that, back in the roaring twenties (or thereabouts), Mrs. Dorothy Parker and her compeers at the Algonquin (or thereabouts) used to play a WORD GAME in which one person would think of a word and challenge another to make a clever sentence using it. Someone gave our dear Mrs. Parker the word, 'horticulture,' and, well, a quote was born. Clever girl she was.

Jul 19, 2008 - The universe is a four-dimensional hypersphere. If you travel a straight line in any direction long enough, you ultimately wind up right back where you started. (Of course, the same is also true for a regular three-dimensional sphere and a two-dimensional circle.)
