Jul 29, 2008 - Thank you very much for this posting of a classic finale from a much criticized and frankly, unjustified criticized film. I believe the critics were comparing this 76 version to the other two, one from the 50's and 30's. It was, in my opinion, very unfair. I think what Ms. Streisand lacked in acting ability was compensated for with her singing voice. The other 2 versions were rated **** and this only **. I think this, overall, was on a par, or close to the versions. I, for one, enjoyed it.
