I can't really say what's better, but I have to admit, I seem to be less depressed and angry when I can believe in something that can save me... Aug 1, 2008 - ok im really confused about my religion. idk wtf i am. my mom is jewish and my dad was born catholic and christian but converted to buddisum but i celebrate all the holidays too. i use to think i was an atheist and thought that religion shouldnt control my life like other peoples. i still believe in not letting religion control me but now i belive in god, is there a religion for beliving in god ur own way

Aug 2, 2008 - i've been chrisiton but right now i'm wiccian. i really dont have issues with any religion the only thing i dont like is that in some religions ppl get so into it that they only follow what their *god* is telling them to do and they stop themselves from being who they really are. like i have a friend who is gay and he refused to beleive that that was really who he was because his religion was againt gays. so its kinda the freewill thing that bothers me in some religions.

To truly grasp the real depth of faith you should lead your life with your own goals and beliefs that you define. Stand up for what you believe in and what you think your life is all about. So to sum it up, Faith isn't just bound by a religion, it can be broadened to nearly any aspect of life.

Aug 2, 2008 - Personally, I'm on the fence about religion but so far, it seems to me that religion was mans way of instilling hope in a person before they die and also, it gave people a set of just moral codes to follow and instead of punishing them for their wrong-doings, it would have been their way to penetrate their concious which would have been much more effective than physically punishing people.

Rated a fiver. would've responded by video but i'm a fag and don't have a webcame or anything. i've come to notice that alot of people will praise God for whenever something wonderful will happen, but when something horrid happens they'll blame the devil, even if said insident is their fault. not saying EVERYONE does it, but i've seen it alot. It leaves me confused. i was born into a Christian family and three fourths of them disowned me for becoming an Athiest :/
