Irene Handono ex catholic nun?? ya'll go and buy her book and make her rich. she was born on 1954 convert to muslim in 1982/83 at the age of 28/29. prior to her conversion she was married 5 years with 3 children. let's say she was 23yo when she got married. so she must have been outta convent at the age of 22yo. according to Roman Catholicism, when a woman enters a convent, she will first undergo a period of testing the life called Postulancy for a year. then take a Novitiate status for 2 years. then proceed to Temporary Vow which last not less than 3 years and not more than 6 years. finally a permanent vows that gave her the "Nun" or "sister" title. so from here we can indicates that after Irene Handono ends her high school at the age of 18/19 she enters convent, but was married at the age of 22/23. which took her only 2-3 years in convent. so she was only a novice. not a nun. as a novice, she will not take a theology classes. until her temporary vow which the Catholic Order will send the nun-to-be to study theology at recommended Catholic theological institute. we may assume she is a liar behind the scene that gain popularity for her book selling in a majority muslim country. it was also said, during her novitiate, she was caught to have an affair with a catholic deacon(to-be-priest) in the town of Jogja. to flee from the accusation, she withdraw from the convent by saying she was "called" to be a muslim. It was said, she furthered her studies at Atma Jaya Indonesian Catholic University which is NOT a school of theology. what a shame.... (read John 1:1, 14) Jesus while mission on earth walk and talk and working with limitation as human being. he was a little while lower than the angel (read hebrews 2:9). emptied himself for being human(philippians 2:7). he was completely human and dependant on God and Holy Spirit. but leats read (John 21:17) after Jesus resurrections, he indeed knew everything. becoz his mission is complete then he is not limited as human being anymore.

Jul 22, 2008 - praying is talking to God not worship. Jesus is human and Divine. he was made lower than angel (hebrews 2:9) emtied himself(philippians 2:5-8). Jesus would talk to his heavenly Father who sent him and who is one with him. this doesnt seem Jesus is denying that he is not God. infact he never did.

Catholic regard her as mother of Jesus the Saviour. upon her dead, Jesus took her into heaven. she is praying for humanity to receives Jesus as their Lord and savior. but my opinion is let those choose wat they want. if a christian cant make a personal relationship with Jesus and would take for granted and commit sins he better chose sumthing else to please his own soul. faith in Jesus saves us. if no faith its a waste of time.

Aug 26, 2008 - cornelius tacitus, a roman historian who is an anti-jews and anti-christians wrote in his annals 15.44 during 64 A.D. that "christus" the founder of christians movement was put to death by pontius pilate. and most important the people in rome in 60's AD were dying becoz of their faith. very ironic why would a crowd of men willingly to die for their faith in Jesus Christ if its just a myth. not if some of them were the witness of the back in the 30's event and still preaching w/out fear of death.
