Jul 26, 2008 - Yeah, that's pretty much the only complaint you could render against this movie -- not a big-budget, CGI trip. Otherwise, it's smart, philosophical, funny, and has one of my favorite sci-fi ideas of all time incorporated at the end. This thing is tied in every way to the roots of this show: it's a simple mystery that hits you hard and fast when it starts falling into place. Loved it.

Jul 26, 2008 - it was good for what it was. did i see it yes. did i feel cheated no. did i find it creepy sort of. it felt like a big buget episode. i liked it. i do like the series a lot better tho. sometimes a smaller budget will go further. just my opinion.

Jul 26, 2008 - Nothing new in this film that we haven't seen a hundred times between Mulder and Scully before. This film was a waste of time and money...especailly my money. I've always been a fan but you know what? Sometimes it's better to end something while it's good then let it die a slow painful death. Which Chris Carter should have done at the end of the 5th season of "X". I bet this movie will be in the theaters for a week or two then it'll get pulled. That's how disapointing it is.

Aug 7, 2008 - I absolutely agree. When I heard this movie was in production a wave of childhood nostalgia hit me and I was instantly thrown back into season 1. Gillian and David are so true to their role - you never would've thought any time had passed since season 9, the first movie and now this. I loved this film, it's one of those that you can watch over and over and over again.
