Aug 10, 2008 - It's true, you rarely hear Celine or Whitney hit the highest notes they're capable of. I remember one performance with Mariah and Whitney, Whitney was able to hit the exact note Mariah did(i think there was some diva action going on) & I was shocked. Another singer that can hit rather low and high notes is Lauryn Hill (but she never sings high...she only does it at the end of one of her songs) I guess Celine and Whitney feel comfortable staying in the 3 which is more than fine w/ me :)

Aug 15, 2008 - you-re wrong!!! a person's range can be measured and tested only on lowest and highest notes she/he can produce with chest/head REAL voice... falsettoes and whistle are another category, and they even have technical and specific names for that (I mean, besides falsetto and whistle)...

Whitney is the best, imao, thou her range's never gone that far...
