May 28, 2008 - Oh, man, Mick! You sound so much like my Leonard. And, mind you, I fancy myself his most ardent fan!! I'm impressed by this... though don't so much dig the electronic sounds in the background. You don't need it. Just your voice and a guitar... and I'm HAPPY!! I'm so happy hearing your covers!! Famous Blue is my fav, but I want to hear you sing the whole catalog!! THANK YOU!!!

May 28, 2008 - Thank you soo much for this. I tried the electronic stuff to see how it would sound. I got the idea from all the sounds Leonard used on so long Marianne. My wife did not like it either. Do you think the concertina works ?
LeonardAndNickFan Says:
May 29, 2008 - Yeah... I agree with your wife. Disregard any of Leonard's tours into the world of eletronica! And, btw, especially completely disregard the ENTIRE Death of a Lady's Man album!! It's a Phil Spector-induced travesty!! The concertina can stay... but the wahwahpingping must go! Oh, and if you're ever in the mood to redo this song... feature Leonard and Janis in room number 2 at the Chelsea... he's giving her kind of a pep talk of sorts... maybe more uplifting and lighthearted. Just a thought.
