i just needed to get out of town for a while away from the crowds and the heat and the phone that constantly rings so i went to this place all day mindlessly trippin' with grace, i ran into this man. told me i should dip my fit into the sand i should go down to the ocean i should go down to the see, stand under a tree to feel free. feel the salty ocean breeze wash over me and the sun kiss my skin, then maybe i could jump into the ocean the see feel it pourin' over me eyes somewhere else what does he see an elbow to his face, filled with rage, put him back in his place discusted what a disgrace in my mouth a nasty taste in my heart and empty place his heart a metal plate been shanked eyes blinded with hate, some kinda view um could you just not tell me what I should do i dont like it when people tell me what to do dont tell me what to do i dont like it when people tell me what I need to do...
