I don't live in Green Bay so detaching from them was an easy choice for me since Brett was leaving. Aug 8, 2008 - Okay, Favre maybe didn't win as many Super Bowls as Brady, however several things should be put in perspective: 1) Favre was the team, even during the Super Bowl years, he was GB. Secondarily, Brady's Super Bowls are a result of being carried by great players. Brady (much like his head coach) has a affinity for Sony's, which helped him considerably during his Super Bowl victories.

Aug 12, 2008 - While Brady is a rather accurate passer, he can fold like a cheap suit under pressure (i.e. SB XLII). In the AFC championship game this past season, he threw 3 picks alone. That shows the can be pushed into making rookie mistakes. However, I agree with you that Brady will be considered one of the all time best QBs and if he stays healthy will be in legend in bean town.

Ted Thompson has been shoving Aaron Rodger's down our throats... There is a lot of politics that pushed Brett to retire, but his heart remains in the game, and he can still kick ass playing.
