May 27, 2008 - Apparently, Brian was involved with the gang/group of kids who beat Russel before he died. Which would explain why he wanted to stay out of it. Damn, that kid must have guilt weigh on him every day - I mean, he saw what happened, heard Russ cry his name; then ran away, lied point blank to Russ' parents... but then called the hospital to see how he was doing? (unless of course he was checking in for the other scumbags to see if Russel had died already).
