Taylor: Well, I guess you could say we had a sort of adventure... FLASHBACK Joe: You look beautiful, as always. Taylor: (blushes) Thank you... So do you. Joe: (smiles) Well, I always look beautiful. Taylor: (laughs) So, let's get going? Joe: Yeah, but ummm... Taylor: What? Joe I was thinking that we can do one of two things tonight... Go on a boring date at a restauraunt, like I was planning to do... Taylor: Or...? Joe: Or I was thinking maybe you'd want to go spy on Nick and Layla. Taylor: Joe! Joe: What? Taylor: That's actually a brilliant idea. Joe: Really? Taylor: (smiles) Yeah, they wouldn't tell me where they were going and it's been bugging me ever since. Joe: (smiles) So, we're gonna do it? Taylor:(smiles) Yep. Let's go... (starts to go out the door but turns around to face Joe) Oh, and I'm driving. Joe: Fine... But only because it probably would be more enjoyable if you were alive for our date. Taylor: (smiles) I'm glad you understand. (They go and get into the car) Joe: Nick and Layla went to the movies. Taylor: He told you? Joe: Yup. Taylor: (mumbles) Well they could've told me. (They drive to the movie theaters and go to buy tickets for the same movie Nick and Layla were watching) Ticket Seller: You're about and hour late to this movie and that's not including the previews, are you sure you want to go in? Taylor: Yes, we're sure. Ticket Seller: We have the next showing in 10 minutes, why don't I just print out tickets to that one? Joe: We'd rather have tickets to the one that's been playing for an hour. Ticket Seller: Are you sure? Because the next one is starting soon and you will have missed the beginning. Joe: Ugh, FINE! Just give us tickets to the next showing. Ticket Seller: That'll be $21.50. Joe: Here. (hands her the money) Ticket Seller: Thank you and enjoy the movie. (They grab the tickets and hurry to the concession stands) Taylor: Do we really need food for spying? Joe: Yes, it's a rule. Taylor: (laughs) Of course... How could I forget? (They buy some popcorn and nachos and then head to Nick and Layla's theater and take a seat in the back corner of the theather) Joe: Do you see them? Taylor: Um. (looks around) Yeah! They're right there! (points to Nick and Layla) Joe: Aw, man. People are staring at him... Poor guy. Taylor: Uh Joe, (points to people around them) apparently he's not the only one. Joe: Hi guys. How's it going? (waves to everyone and then looks at Taylor and laughs) Ticket Seller: (walks up to Joe and Taylor) Excuse me I'm going to need you two to step outside. People are complaining of excessive noise. Joe: (turns to face the people around them) Which one of you was it? Huh? Which one? Ticket Seller: Please just take a step outside. Joe: Fine. (They get up and start to walk out of the theater) Ticket Seller: Didn't I sell you tickets to the other showing? Joe: huh? Ticket Seller: You heard me. Taylor: (laughs) Come again...? Joe: What? Ticket Seller: Um... Joe: Huh? Ticket Seller: What? Taylor: STOP CONFUSING US! (Taylor and Joe leave the ticket seller and start laughing) Joe: (laughing) I've taught you well. Taylor: So what do we do now? Joe: Here. (sits down on the floor while leaning against a wall) Sit down. Taylor: Okay. (sits down) So we're just going ot sit here? Joe: Yup... popcorn? (gives her the popcorn) Taylor: (giggles) Thanks... So interesting first date. Joe: We're not done yet. Taylor: Oh no? Joe: Nope... -- 1 hour Later -- Joe: Watch this. (looks at the ticket seller who happened to be passing by) Excuse me Mister! Ticket Seller: What do you want now? Joe: If no one buys a ticket... do they still show the movie? Ticket Seller: (mumbles as he walks off) Stupid.. Kid... Movie... Job... Taylor: (laughing) That was mean. Joe: Hey, blame your sister for teaching me that one. Taylor: (laughs) Will do... Looks like they're getting out of the movie. Joe: And there they are... (They get up and start to slowly follow them while trying to listen on into their conversation) Taylor: 'The wrath that is Joe'? Joe: (rolls his eyes) He knew he shouldn't have messed with me. (They laugh as they continue to listen onto their conversation) Nick: (chuckles) Well I try... Joe: Way to be cocky, Nick. (Nick's head shot over to Joe and he and Taylor quickly duck out of the way) Taylor: Way to be loud, Joe. Joe: I don't think he saw us, and they're leaving now. Taylor: So do we follow them? Joe: You're not hungry, are you? Taylor: No, the popcorn was more than enough... you hungry? Joe: Laugh all you want, but no. Taylor: so... Joe: So, let's go somewhere. Taylor: Where? END OF FLASHBACK Nathan: So where'd you go? Taylor: We ended up going just going to the Promenade and walking around and stuff... It was really chill and fun. Layla: I can't believe you spied on us! Okay, I have the beginning of 48 written... but I'm sort of having a minor case of writers block...
