Kaveriporukka Sakari Kuosmanen, Jore Marjaranta, Marco Hietala, Heikki Salo, Jopi Knuutinen, Kaitsu Kääriäinen, Janne Tolsa ja Matti Rytinki mietiskelivät usein leirinuotiolla istuessaan ja kitaraa soitellessaan, ettei tunnelmaan sopivaa musaa ole juurikaan tehty. Niinpä he alkoivat tekemään biisejä, joissa ei lauleta kaupungin valoista, vaan luonnosta, kulkemisesta ja kaikesta niihin liittyvistä fiiliksistä. Könkään kuohut laskeutuu syvään suvantoon, Jalveen, jossa "veljet" ovat kalastelleet perinteisillä Lapin irtiotoillaan.
