The accident happened on Highway 1 just past the Petticodiac exit , at mile marker 237 , just before noon . I talked to the driver of the Blue Saturn and he said he had the car on cruise control , and he was passing another car, as he was going past the car it pulls over into passing lane forcing him onto the left hand shoulder of the road , and when he tried to pull it back onto the highway , it skidded across both lanes of traffic and rolled landing backwards in the ditch. Female passenger had to be cut out of the car with jaws of life and they were both taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries. Ambulance arrived on scene fast , followed by the fire dept but no RCMP arrived at scene while I was there .
