ShackRPG Engine has been given a re-write to more closely resemble that of the Microsoft RPG engine. I did this primarily to show beginners (of whom I am as well) what can be done in their engine with a little research, some imagination, and a lot of work. This video is a progress video of my work on this engine, and with a demo nearing completion, I hope it helps motivate others to play around with it. Blog can be found at; Http://www.CraigGiles.com

Jul 25, 2008 - I've changed code repositories, so when I have the demo fully playable i'll re-upload it. Its mostly just an offshoot of the XNA Rpg Engine from Microsoft but some parts heavily modified or stripped down. I have a few ideas for a battle system I want to use, since I think the traditional 'real time / active time' systems are boring after a little while :(
