MGS4 Information: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is an upcoming stealth action video game in the popular Metal Gear series. Directed by Hideo Kojima, Shuyo Murata and Yoji Shinkawa, Guns of the Patriots is currently being developed by Kojima Productions exclusively for the PlayStation 3 video game console. The game is being designed around the motto "No Place to Hide!". MGS4 will reportedly be the last game in the series starring Solid Snake. The game will be released worldwide on Thursday, June 12, 2008. Plot: Set in 2014, five years after the "Big Shell Incident" (the events of the Plant chapter from Metal Gear Solid 2), Metal Gear Solid 4 portrays a world where the restriction of military intervention on foreign soil has been eased, fueling the need for private military companies (PMCs) to fight proxy wars for business purposes. Nanotechnology has become prominent, both to enhance the capabilities and enforce the loyalty of mercenaries. The nanos that are in the PMCs are called "Sons of the Patriots" or "SOP". The five largest of these PMCs are owned by a single mother company named Outer Haven, which is operated by Liquid Ocelot. Amassing an army whose manpower rivals that of the United States, Liquid prepares to launch an armed insurrection. With the world once again in crisis, a rapidly aging and disillusioned Solid Snake is deployed into the Middle East by Roy Campbell to terminate Liquid. Guns of the Patriots will take place in five locations throughout the world, including the Middle East, South America, and Eastern Europe. Jun 19, 2008 - I'm playing MGS4 now nice and slow, and I'm forcing myself to now click on any of the spoiler vids that are on here. No point in buying the greatest game ever and then spoiling the story for yourself before you get through it. I'm not even going to watch the blu-ray that came with the game until I'm done, as it has spoilers.

Jun 20, 2008 - yeah i know i kept seeing these ending vids on youtube and i was like "no im not going to watch them!" i just beat the game not to long ago and now im playing it on Boss....its kinda the same but in its own way its pretty hard the playing it on boss in the begging was pretty simple but eh...yeah later its pretty damn hard how far are you? message me where your at so we wont spoil for any one the whole game was mind blowing if your a fan of mgs the story...10 out of 10 A+ imo

Jun 23, 2008 - they should remake MGS 1 for the PS3 and add Otocam suit.. it is sad when u play throught this level in MKGS 1 as its has flashbacks of the voices... the gekko anoy the hell out of me lol but when u get the rail gun there easy to kill

Jul 18, 2008 - The remake of mgs was not in 2003, it was in 2004 and was called the twin snakes. it was made for gamecube. this is the only mgs i have but i will buy a playstation 3 to get guns of the patroit. say, is sons of liberty for playstation or playstation 2?

I re-played that game using emulator last year (my NES broke down after like near 20 years since it was 1st out) and still loved it.. XD MGS truly brings stealth gaming into a brand new level...

Jul 23, 2008 - ops. wrong info. MGS begins as MSX console (looks like NES console with keyboard as joypad)but made official when Nintendo "bought" the game and port it to NES... I'm playing Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake on PS2 rite now (available only on MGS3 Subsistance)...cant wait to fight Fox Gray himself!!
