This mix about my favourite basketball player, Pete Maravich. Since Pistol was a 70s player you probably don't know much about him. Maravich is an NBA legend and was inducted into the fall of hame in 1987; he holds nearly every single college scoring record and averaged 44.2 points a game without the three point line. About the Mix, I didn't want to add to many effects onto it because I just wanted to focus on the clips; however there are effects in the tittles and such. What this mix covers - All FG's from his 68 point game ( not including free throws ) - Highlights as a Tiger (college) - Highlights as a Hawk - Highlights as a Jazz - Highlights as a Celtic Best Watched Quicktime Loud Stream http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5-J2Spj7kg Download http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5-J2Spj7kg Download http://rapidshare.com/files/75470123...e_Greatest.mp4 ( 36mb, Small size ) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3252T5V4 ( 107mb, full screen size )

Jul 5, 2008 - Pistol, your a shinning example of "practice makes perfect". The long hours in the gym paid off for you as seen in this video. RIP.

Jul 6, 2008 - Pistol Pete is the most creative, dedicated, and offensively skilled player to ever play the game. No one today could defend him and no one ever could. He had a sub-par NBA career because of life problems and he was never on a winning team.

Jul 14, 2008 - This is a really well-made video. I unfortunately wasn't able to witness Pistol Pete's games back in the 70s so this is a great window to the past for me.

Jul 30, 2008 - I think that pete marovick was the best shooter there ever was. And waht made him so great is that he was doing behing the back passes and no look passes and that was unheard of until he came along. He was the one would started all the trick passes.
edhiggins Says:
Jul 30, 2008 - you retards, Thumper Newman was nothing close to Pistol. I respect him more than anyone i've ever heard of. He's the reason that I'm where I'm at today. Watching his Christian Testimony before he died really helped me with my walk with Jesus, as well. I can't wait to get to heaven to meet him. Respect.

Aug 6, 2008 - With 3-point line he would have scored 98 (2 less than Wilt Chamberlain).
ALEX2363 Says:
Aug 10, 2008 - thumper newman aint gay he has a son..but his style of play was like magic, doc, pistol pete, very flashy . his style of play ended his career with a between the legs pass in the superdome..it blew up his knee and he was done. after several attempts at trying out he gave up and and started charity work.

Aug 13, 2008 - hes a true baller. hes not mentioned enough tho
ALEX2363 Says:
Aug 14, 2008 - true not mentioned enough, pete still is college alltime scorer,42.2,he didnt even play frsh yr at lsu. pete was so good in 1970 the hawks picked him 3rd draft and gave him the richest contract ever,4 yrs@1.6 million. he was nba rookie yr. the hawks traded pete for 8 players to jazz. he became star with jazz, til 1980, the celtics picked him and he played last year with bird then retired with leg injury. pete battled alcohol, became christian, he died heart attack playing ball at church, age 40.
tbirds1224 Says:
Aug 15, 2008 - i totally agree not mentioned enough nd true phenom... nd btw if their was a 3-point line when he played he'd averaged 57 ppg, which would be unthinkable!
