"Wake Up" [The next morning, Madison wanted to stay home but she knew she couln't because she had a test.] [AT LUNCH] Amy: So how are the boy's doing? Madison: Joe and Kevin are fine. They were allowed to go home the next day. Nick is... He's still not waking up Amy: I'm sorry Maddie. I'm sure he'll wake up soon Madison: I sure do hope so... [Later that day in AP Government, Madison's phone began to ring. Everyone was looking for her so she opened it and noticed that she had a missed call from Kevin.] Madison: I'm sorry but can i take this call? It's really important Teacher: I don't think so. You can wait after class Madison:(she sat thinking for a while but she couldn't just sit there!) I'm sorry, but i really have to take this [She walks out of class and immediatly calls Kevin back] Kevin:(on phone) Madison! Madison:What's going on? Kevin: He's up! Nick's awake! Madison: Oh my gosh!! Ahh!!! Kevin: Yeah he just woke up Madison: Oh my gosh! I need to be there like now! Kevin: Do you want me to pick you up? Madison: No, i'm driving there. I'll see you soon ok Kevin: Ok, I'll tell Nick you're coming Madison: No, don't tell him. I want to surprise him... [Madison runs back home and gets in her Jackie's car. She sped all the way there and arrived in 40 minutes. As she was running towards Nick's room, she began to get really nervous. What is she going to say? Will he even remember her? When she reached his room, she took a deep breath but she was still really nervous. She texted Kevin and he came out 5 seconds later] Kevin: You're here! Come on in Madison: I'm nervous Kevin: It's gonna be ok. [They walk in] Mrs.J: Madison! You're here! Joe: Did you skip school again? Kevin: I think we should give her some time alone with Nick [They all walked out. When they did, Madison looked over at Nick. He was sitting on his bed staring at her. She walked forward...] Madison: Hey Nick: Hi Madison: I missed you Nick: Me too (they were silent for a while) Come on closer [she got closer to his bed and he offered his hand. She took it.] Madison: I'm sorry (she began to cry) Nick: No, i'm sorry. I should have put on my seat belt Madison: I'm so glad you're wake Nick: Me too... Madison: Did you hear me? I mean, while you were in the coma did you hear my voice? Nick: I think so. I kept having a dreams. Random stuff mostley. But I kind of remember dreaming of you Madison: You dreamt of me? Nick:Yeah, we were on our first date. We did all we did. The carrige ride and the ferris wheel. It was wonderful Madison:(smiling) Yes it was Nick: When we were on the beach, you kept saying "Nick, please wake up" Madison: Yeah, I kept asking you to wake up Nick: I guess it worked Madison: I really missed you. You were all I could think about Nick: I'm sorry I never made it to the dance Madison: It doesn't even matter. You are ok. You came back to me and that's all i ever wanted Nick:(smiles) I love you Madison:(smiling back) I love you too _____________________________________ Yey!! He's up!! Just a heads up, i'm ending my series. Sorry, but i totally ran out of ideas. The good news is that i will be making a new one!! I'll start writing it soon and I'll post them in July when i'm home for the Jonas Brothers concert. The last chapter will be Chapter 21
