Dec 13, 2007 - It's a guitar that's plugged into a Leslie Speaker. That's why it has the whirling effect. Many pink floyd songs use the Leslie speaker, like Brain Damage, Echoes, Atom Heart Mother, ect. It's usually associated with being plugged into a piano/keyboard though.

All songs lend themselves to the next, if not actually overlapping the track? The album becomes a long piece of music divided into titles. It becomes some sort of epic. If I recall Brain Damage then practically trips over Colour on the album. It was Floyd's first attempt at such a thing and while doing so they produced one of the greatest albums of all time.
